我所了解的在家教育（Homeschooling）

发发在家教育小发发，佩服发发的勇气和对小发发的大爱的同时，也隐隐的为小发发捏着汗。

在家教育（Homeschooling），在网上百科全书中定义如下（http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Homeschooling）：

Homeschooling[1][2] or homeschool (also called home education or home learning) is the education of children at home, typically by parents but sometimes by tutors, rather than in a public or private school. Although prior to the introduction of compulsory school attendance laws, most childhood education occurred within the family or community,[3] homeschooling in the modern sense is an alternative in developed countries to formal education.

美国家长选择在家教育孩子是合法的，但是教育计划、考核要求要满足校区的要求，执行情况、考核要在校区备案。校区会给孩子相应的资质证明，以便申请大学时所需。

除了父母担任老师外，一般还有其他教师介入孩子的教育。有一家朋友选择在家教育三个女儿，母亲负责文化课，父亲负责体育课，还请了舞蹈老师教跳舞。除了校区的规定内容外，他们大量利用网络资源。

还有的家长，认为学校的常规教育不够，业余时间请家庭教练的。

前提条件：父母能为孩子提供比学校更好的教育条件（环境、知识、关爱。。。等等）。

其实，孩子在学校学习的不仅是知识，还会学习怎样与其他小朋友相处。在家教育孩子减少了孩子与同龄人相处的时间，家长要通过其他方式给孩子补上这一课。
